Professional Experience

Web Developer
May 2007 through February 2010
  • Responsible for all online resources
  • Lead the effort to redesign the company websites by implementing a four phase plan. Using feedback from within the organization and customers to develop best practices. Each phase was focused on driving the organization into a consistent online presence in separate stages.

    Phase 1: Website requirement gathering
    Phase 2: Website consolidation and redesign
    Phase 3: Marketing improvements and applications
    Phase 4: Website internationalization.

  • Lead marketing teams in creating online applications to assist customers
  • Encouraged usage of appropriate email marketing campaigns
  • Moved open source applications, like SubVersion, into the business environment to fill needs of employees not met with existing business technologies

    Matt worked with me for several years in the capacity of computer operator. I was so impressed with his skill set and ability and desire to learn that I later hired him as a Computer Technician. Matt's ability to quickly and efficiently recognize, diagnose and fix computer problems made him an invaluable asset to our organization.

    Matt's technical abilities with computers were not his only talents, he was also an accomplished web designer/programmer. We utilized his programming abilities several times during his Computer Technician duties as he designed several utilities and inventory databases that are still in use today. When a Web Developer position came open in our organization I immediately recommended Matt for the position as he had the talents the duties demanded. Even though I lost a great Computer Technician by recommending Matt for the Web Developer position, he continued to help me with many technical problems that my team and I could not resolve.

    Matt was a good employee for me and I regretted his choice to leave the company but I highly recommend him to any future employers needing a good, talented, and diversified employee.
